W. Portsmouth are delighted to be delivering the initial phase of the Homerton University Hospitals Solar PV Scheme, a key project supporting the Trust’s commitment to sustainability and carbon reduction. The scheme will see site-generated renewable energy integrated directly into the hospital’s infrastructure, helping to create a cleaner, more resilient energy future.
Following a detailed roof selection process, comprehensive site surveys, and the development of detailed CAD layout drawings, the roofs offering the highest energy output and most optimal positioning have been prioritised. Installation works will commence on these areas first to maximise renewable energy generation from the outset.
We are currently completing the final stages of the detailed design, pre-construction activities, and long-lead procurement, with installation works due to commence on site in the coming weeks. We look forward to sharing progress updates as this exciting project moves forward.
